Wanting to try new ideas for website graphics, I picked a website that I felt needed redesigning and got to work.
I didn't like the look of SoundCloud's landing page where the search field lives. I once found myself staring right at it and not being able see it for a second. I think it could use a little more design inspiration.
I was wanting to try some ideas for website graphics, so SoundCloud was the perfect candidate. To me, music is beautiful, powerful and fun. The aim was to visually allude to these qualities of music. It was also a priority to make an animation that loops perfectly forever.
